How to Become an Online Reseller-Graduating From Affiliate to Merchant-Part 1

Marketing affiliate products if a great way to earn income, placing a link on a blog or website is one of the easiest ways to promote your affiliate products. We all know that there is not a lack of product to sell online, but if you want to graduate from an affiliate to a reseller, there is several ways you can do this.

First you will need some kind of product to resell, basically, you want to pick a product you are interested in promoting. Next you need to get the resale rights to it, if it is offered, or if a similar product is available that you can "re-brand" with your own name and customize the salespage as well as the program itself by replacing the links within them with yours.

Once you do this and download the product, you must then take the files in your computer, customize them and place them into your server so they can be viewed by the public. The problem is many people don't have the technical skills to do so and have a problem getting the website to do what it supposed to do for you.

Problem solved. When I started many years ago, I learned the hard way and struggled with the tedious work of relinking a website and getting it up and running, when you miss a link, you loose sales, because the last person who adjusted the programs links are in it, just hoping you miss one or two. I also struggled with uploading it, the files never seemed to transfer over the same way and it caused broken links and images to be in the wrong place. After all that, I learned to FTP download to my server and it went much easier.
