How to Increase Your Sales Online and Offline With an Information
Area on Your Website

Using articles, your blog and website combined is an excellent way to earn a
part-time or even a full time income. There are many methods to get your
articles distributed throughout the internet and you can easily do so with just
a couple of tools and a few ideas.

Creation

The best information you can provide comes right from the person that is
reading this article right now, you! Even if you think you don’t know about
anything, you will be amazed at what you really do possess as valuable
information to others. For instance, if you have an interesting field of work that
you do and are always explaining what you do, people are interested in it. Or
how about if you have been a handyman for twenty years, how many
customers have you shown how things are built?

Using the carpenter as an example, if he/she has a website to advertise their
services, you can now add an “information area” to your website, when you
provide free advice, you will be amazed how fast your credibility increases. The
Handyman can now use the website as a destination for information on any
number of subjects including new services that are offered at the bottom of

The amazing thing is even if you are not the greatest writer in the world, there
are tools that can assist you in taking just a few words from your idea and
creating an informative article about it. You can then add or delete your key
words and re-create if you are not happy with the results and do it over and
over until you are happy.

You can also use pre-written articles, there are thousands of them on just about
any subject you can think of. These articles are packaged together by the
thousands and are in easy text format so you can just copy and paste them
onto your website, blog or PDF document. The only downfall to these articles

Publishing Your Content

Once you have completed your work, you will need to get it out to the public,
you are not limited to just your website or blog. You can use a number of
methods to do this, I have listed a few below.

websites right from your desktop. It will automatically sign in and
populate the fields needed for the particular site it is being submitted to,

2.     You can use Google Gears, this desktop application allows you to upload
your documents in many different formats right from your desktop. It will
automatically be submitted for search in the Google Search Engine. You

user to view your document in HTML format, Word Format as well as PDF
and they can also download your document. Google Docs is Free, if you

3.     Scribd is a website that over 5 million people belong to, you may have
received this document from here. You can join groups and increase the
views on your article which will mean additional traffic and increased

4.     Using a blog is another great way to get your articles out and about the
internet. Two of the more popular blogs are Blogger , Blogger is part of
your google account and can be accessed from your google home page.
Wordpress, is another popular blogging site which has a huge back link
presence, both are user friendly and customizable.

Your article is providing an informative service, but it also should be worth your

Add your Resources Box

At the end of each article you should provide a resources box that contains your
name, your website address and any other information. You can use mine
shown below as an example. You may also want to include a powerful clause
in your article.

“You may distribute this article on your website as free information to your
visitors. The links and this resources box must be included with it.”

You have now created a syndicated article, that can spread like wildfire through
the internet.

The internet is a powerful tool if you use the resources available to you that will
help you gain notoriety and an edge over others. Good luck in all of your
ventures and keep learning. If you learn just 2 new things about the internet
everyday, by the end of a month it adds up to 60 new things and after a year
it adds up to over 730 new things that you will know.
